PIANO TEACHER + STUDIO OWNER
Amy Elmore
Amy has been successfully teaching kids how to play the piano for over 30 years and has been the owner of Keys to Praise Piano Studio for the last 16 years. She uses creative games and “off the bench” activities to teach all the basics - technique, theory, rhythm, and note reading—while encouraging independent exploration, improvisation, and composition so students can understand the big picture and apply it to the musical genre they love.
As the studio owner, Amy is committed to creating a consistent experience for all students and families, no matter who the student’s primary teacher is. It is her goal to have each student feel confident, successful and cared for in a creative and fun environment. Amy also holds a master's degree in marriage and family therapy.
PIANO TEACHER
Paige Ye
Paige started teaching piano privately at the age of 16, but music has always been a part of her life. Paige is a Chapman University graduate with a B.M. in piano performance, and she is recently graduated from USC with an M.S. in Arts Leadership. She is also working as the collaborative pianist at Oxford Academy. With over 18 years of both classical piano and choral music training, she is experienced in offering intermediate and advanced piano lessons, choral conducting, and accompanying.
In 2022, Paige joined our team of teachers. Her music teaching philosophy is to inspire students to love music. This is her third year teaching at Keys to Praise, and we feel she does just that! She truly believes, “The final aim and reason of all music is nothing other than the glorification of God and the refreshment of the spirit.” - J.S. Bach.
Aside from music, Paige loves traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
PIANO + UKULELE TEACHER
Bernadette Hattouni
Bernadette is a Keys to Praise graduate. Bernadette began lessons at age 5 and has been playing for over 15 years. In 2017, Bernadette joined our team of teachers. She graduated from Rosary Academy where she was the pianist for their Chamber Orchestra as well as their Praise and Worship group. She recently graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a double major in Political Science/International Affairs and History. When she is not playing the piano or interning at Riverside’s District Attorney’s Office, Bernadette enjoys spending the day at the beach, traveling with her family, and reading a good book.
Bernadette's confident yet gentle approach helps her students feel successful; her fun teaching style makes her students love piano and ukulele! Bernadette is a wonderful addition to the Keys to Praise team!
VOICE TEACHER
Julia Sapeta
We are so excited that Julia joined our team in the spring of 2025! Julia recently graduated from Chapman University with a double major in Vocal Performance and Global Communication/World Language, but her musical journey began long before. Julia spent most of her childhood singing in choir, a skill she took into her college life and beyond. By the time she was nine, she was already playing the piano and violin. Now that she is finished with her degree, we are so excited she is sharing her talents with us!
When Julia isn’t playing an instrument or singing, she loves to be outdoors. She frequents the beach, goes on hikes, and also reads or bakes when she wants to relax. Julia is such a caring, optimistic young woman, and she brings that love into her lessons!
PIANO TEACHER
Yoonjeong Park
Yoonjeong is in her first year of teaching music with Keys to Praise, but her musical experience began long ago. Raised by two music-loving parents, Yoonjeong’s passion for music began in her childhood.
Yoonjeong’s professional career started in Christian Contemporary Music, where she played both the roles of performer and arranger. After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a major in Jazz Composition, she was determined to dive deeper into music theory. She obtained her masters from Cal State Long Beach in jazz studies and jazz piano performance. She is currently a pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts at UNLV.
On top of her studies, Yoonjeong also teaches piano at UNLV, and she is working on a book of jazz piano improvisation. In her free time, Yoonjeong loves spending time with JJanjang, her dog, and going for walks in nature. We are so thankful to have her on our team!
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Kylie Perdomo
Kylie has been a part of the Keys to Praise team since 2019. She started off working with the business’s social media, and from there her responsibilities have grown. Currently, Kylie’s role is as the virtual assistant for the studio, so she handles most parent communication, scheduling, and all the behind-the-scenes things that make Keys to Praise run smoothly. Additionally, you may have seen Kylie at one of the recitals… she’s usually the one with the camera!
Kylie is the only member of team who is not currently living in Southern California. She and her husband are on a service trip in Guatemala, where they are working to mitigate child labor by providing education scholarships. When she’s not volunteering or checking her Keys to Praise emails, Kylie loves hiking, finding new restaurants, and relaxing with a good book. While she loves the work she’s doing in Central America, she misses being able to be in the studio and seeing our families face-to-face!
Teachers who love teaching, helping students to love learning!
At Keys to Praise we care about the whole student! Through caring, creative, and comprehensive instruction, kids learn the technical elements of music, explore creativity, overcome limiting beliefs and build confidence as musicians. Students (and parents) are given a clear path to success.
